There is one very interesting fact about life, we all see exactly the same; but we all have millions of interpretations for exactly the same thing.
In fact, I believe there are no two people in the world who can see anything identically the same, or with the same lens as another person.
The lens, is the main thing. What lens does our knowledge, our values, our beliefs, and our influences have created in us?
The lens are the causers of a huge amount of discussions, arguments and disagreements. We as human beings have to develop the ability to imagine and understand how others see through their lens.
The wisest thing a person could do is: filling their mind with as much wisdom and knowledge as possible in order to obtain the lenses which allow to see reality as it really is. I personally, strongly, belief that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of God, as He expresses in the book of Proverbs.
One of the things that brings men and women to loss and/or failure is the constant use of inadequate lenses which don’t allow them to have a clear image of what reality is.
Self awareness is the key to analyze what lenses we have been using and how effective they are in our lives. Because although your vision might be impaired because of poor lenses, the reality of the facts is still the same.
Your lenses and what you see do not change reality, But if you study reality hard then you could change your lenses. Whoever can see better, has the more success in life.
Our parents highly influence us on what type of lenses we use to see many situations in life. But as we grow and develop our reasoning abilities we should be able to see the erroneous lenses we were passed by our parents, and change them for ones that would allow us to see much better.
Society, other people, TV, the internet, and many other sources now a days, can influence our lenses to a great extent. The job of a wise person is to use their self awareness in order to analyze and manage who influences their lenses and how.
Many irrational people might try to influence our lenses and if we allow them, we are obviously going to get, just like them, irrational views of life.
So I encourage you to like I, continue to pursue wisdom and intelligence in order to see the world in a much better definition, and live a much happier, better, exciting life.
I suggest you read the books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes in the Bible.
